Nike x Stussy Release Dates
The Nike Stussy collaborations over the last decade have continued to highlight the innovative partnership between Nike and Stussy, delivering a series of iconic sneakers and apparel that blend Nike's athletic roots with Stussy's streetwear aesthetic. From unique sneaker releases to comprehensive apparel collections, their collaborations have been a significant part of the streetwear and sneaker culture.
One of the most notable collaborations includes the Stussy x Nike SB Dunk “Cherry” from 2005, celebrated for its unique Neapolitan ice cream-inspired colorway, which has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to high-profile endorsements. Another remarkable release was the Stussy x Nike Blazer Mid '73 “Clerks Pack” from the same year, paying homage to various sneaker boutiques worldwide.
The World Tour Collection in 2006 revisited the Nike Dunk High and introduced custom versions of the Nike Free Trail 5.0 and Nike Trainer Dunk Low, each representing Stussy store locations around the globe with unique colorways and designs. Following this, the Stussy x Nike Court Force Low in 2006, centered around Stussy's London Chapter store, offered two colorways in a design driven by the London staff.
In 2008, the "Boneyards" collection, a collaboration with NEIGHBORHOOD, presented a range of apparel and accessories alongside sneakers, showcasing a grunge-inspired aesthetic with mostly black uppers. The Stussy x Nike All Court Mid "XXX" in 2010 celebrated Stussy's 30th Anniversary with premium materials and design touches that echoed the brand's legacy.
More recent collaborations include the Stussy x Nike Air Max 95 in 2015, marking both Stussy’s 35th Anniversary and the Air Max 95's 20th, with a design that paid homage to both brands' histories. In 2018, Stussy and Nike released the SB Blazer Mid and Low, showcasing minimal design with textured suede.
2020 was a particularly busy year for Nike Stussy collaborations, starting with the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage, which brought back a Steven Smith-designed silhouette into the spotlight. This was followed by the Air Zoom Spiridon KK and the Air Force 1 collaborations, continuing the trend of tonal designs and unique material choices.
Each of these collaborations has not only highlighted the enduring partnership between Nike and Stussy but has also pushed the boundaries of sneaker and apparel design, leaving a lasting impact on streetwear culture. These releases have varied from reinterpretations of classic silhouettes to entirely new concepts, each embodying the essence of both brands and their influence on fashion and sneaker communities worldwide.
