Following up on a solid beginning to May, the middle of the month is heating up even further with collaborative efforts from across the industry.
Beginning this new week is a new project between Kith and adidas, tackling six different silhouettes as part of Kith's Summer 2024 collection. On the same day, Shaedon Sharpe's Nike GT Jump 2 PE is being released, honoring the NBA player's Canadian heritage.
The following day, May 14th, sees another Nike Basketball PE with WNBA star Jewell Loyd getting her own GT Cut 3 colorway. Another WNBA star is also getting a release on this day as Breanna Stewart's third signature sneaker, the Puma Stewie 3, debuts in the Dawn colorway. For fans of nu-metal, KORN is dropping an exclusive adidas Supermodified on their site.
Kicking off the 15th is another PE colorway for a basketball star as Victor Wembanyama gets his very own colorway of the GT Hustle 2, inspired by Wemby's "Alien" nickname. Other collabs on this day include a new pack of Humanrace Sambas from Pharrell Williams and Issey Miyake's three-pack of New Balance MT10s.
The 17th features a new silhouette from LaMelo Ball and Puma with the LaFrance model, two Grey Days releases from NB with the 1906R and WRPD Runner, the DTLR-exclusive 2002R Purple Noir, a Barons PE-inspired Jordan 9 Golf, and the debut of the KD 17 Sunrise.
Finally, the week is closed out by Futura's Nike SB Dunk Low, finally released after months of teasers, as well as the launch of the Jordan 11 Low Space Jam and Skepta's first sneaker with Puma.
